Evidenced Based Programs Coordinator

The Healthy Aging program is seeking a 24 hour/week Evidenced Based Programs Coordinator to develop and coordinate its new regional center for evidenced based programs. This is a new position designed to expand the Agewell program, in which SMAA has been implementing A Matter of Balance and Living Well training programs.

The Coordinator would be responsible for identifying service gaps, developing and managing the partner network, coordinating the Agewell marketing/communication efforts across the SMAA region, and liaising with Maine Health and Office of Elder Services on contract administration and technical support.

The Coordinator would work closely with the Agewell Coordinator and Program Associate under the supervision of the Director of Healthy Aging. Candidate must have a BA/BS, marketing skills and experience in collaborating and organizing with partner programs, and judgment and initiative in managing multiple priorities. Experience with evidence based programs and seniors is preferred, as is contacts and experience with medical institutions in southern Maine.
